Kingston

Kingston, Jamaica acts like a big city. There are places that you do not want to go and there are areas of town that are nice. Kingston Bay is the largest natural port in the Caribean. However, it is a port. The closer you get to the water, the more dangerous the area. We were told by the RSO at the embassy to go uphill if you ever get lost. It's a true statement because the nicer areas of town are uphill.
I'm staying at the Kingston Hilton which is not as nice as it sounds. The hotel is old and used, however it is clean.
I went to Lime Cay yesterday with Mike from work and our driver, Tommy. On weekends, Tommy will drive us in his personal car. Lime Cay is an island about 5 miles outside of the bay. It was ok, but I sure did wish that Natalie and the kids were there with me. The redneck Riviera is much nicer, but from what I hear, I need to go to the north side of island to really see the beaches of Jamaica.
